Company Description
Securitas plays an important role in society and manages one of Sweden's most important missions - to protect and help people feel safe. Now you have the chance to become part of Sweden's largest security company. Whether you want to work a lot or a little, day or night, we need to grow our team.
As the largest employer in our industry, we can offer you development opportunities and variety that few other companies can. We strive for unified leadership with a balance between expectations and conditions.
Securitas Sweden places its personnel in wartime. This means that as an employee, in the event of war, you will retain your employment and be managed by Securitas.
You take care of people's safety – Securitas takes care of you.
About the Role
Are you looking for a job where you can work towards a safer society? We at Securitas are currently looking for you who want to be the first contact when the alarm goes off. If you are a service-oriented person looking for a changing everyday life, then this job is for you!
As an alarm operator, you will work in our alarm center where you receive and manage alarms from businesses and private homes. You will have a very important role as you will be the first contact with our customers, guards, alarm installers, police, and other authorities. You will work according to pre-established guidelines agreed upon with the customer and ensure that our customers and their property are taken care of properly.
You will, for example:
- Handle and receive alarms via our management system and phone
- Facilitate and manage contact with police, fire department, guards, or contractors for service actions.
This position suits you who thrive in a role where you are in contact with others and can make a real difference. We at Securitas share the same drive when it comes to being there for people and creating a safer society. In this role, you will have the chance to contribute to this work by being the first person to make contact when there is a need.
Working Hours: We are looking for two new colleagues for our team for full-time employment starting as agreed. As the needs span several different time frames, we offer two different schedules:
- Rotating 5/2 schedule where you work both day and night. The shifts are 12 hours and include work every other weekend.
- Fixed schedule with constant afternoon-evening from 14:00 to 22:00 Monday to Friday.
We are security. We are Securitas.
Requirements
- Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of high school
- Experience working with telephone-based communication/customer service
It is an advantage if you have experience from the security industry.
You will use the computer as your primary tool, so we prefer that you have good computer skills from before.
As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, able to handle periods of high work tempo. We also prefer that you have a strong interest in technology and find it easy to understand instructions.
Since you will have significant responsibility in your role, but also work very closely with both customers and colleagues, we believe you can work both independently and in a team. Taking responsibility comes naturally to you – you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes those around you feel safe.
